McCall, Idaho - June 22 - 24

The view from the RV as we travel this amazing country never ceases to amaze us. This is a photo of the Payette River.

As always, Mark seems to find the most scenic places to stop along the road.

It's hard to believe how many places are lacking in water when you can see this beautiful clear clean water rushing down the side of the road.  The water was coming down so fast you would not even be able to take it in a kayak.

We went back to McCall RV Resort because we love the area.   Its a beautiful resort.

We could not resist a trip out to our favorite restaurant, Shore Lodge, on the banks of Payette Lake.

An interesting lamb dinner came wrapped in foil.  Our wait person explained that the chef likes to serve it this way so the flavors mingle and when you open it you get the distinct aroma.  We topped it off with a granny apple tart topped with vanilla ice cream - YUM!

It's always fun to make new friends in the RV park.  While Mark was setting up I started to talking to our neighbor, Alex.  She found out we were golfers, and she invited us to join them for a round of golf at Jug Mountain.  We had a great time with Alex and Jim Gordon at this beautiful course with its colorful wildflowers.

Another wonderful stop in McCall.  Now its on to another one of our favorites, Spokane RV Resort.
