Visit with my grandson Atticus - Boston in August

While were in Ohio for a month I took the opportunity to fly out to see my Dad in Philadelphia as well as make a trip to Boston to get a chance to visit with my grandson Atticus ... and, oh yes, Eden and Josh as well.

We spent lots of time at Atticus's favorite place.  He calls it "outside" but without a doubt it is the playground.

For a little boy, who is not yet two he has quite the jump shot!

Put a basketball in his hand and you quickly see his focus and concentration, as well as his obvious love of the game.

He's just a "little squirt"  but he thinks he can get this shot around the "big blocker", his mom! I swear he thinks he is ready for the NBA draft!  Maybe he's ready for a tennis racquet!!!

He loves everything on a playground and takes on all of the equipment, even the largest slide!  Yup, that's him almost to the top.

We made a stop for ice cream cones.  Atticus commendeered this huge cone from his Mom and with a little help from Dad he ate the entire cone!

He really enjoys playing in the park and is quite the jumper!

Josh helped put in a beautiful brick path at the local playground but Atticus thought the big guys needed some additional guidance!

But the real memory maker was at a neighborhood jazz fest where Atticus showed off his dancing ability. Sadly, at the end  he took a little spill but the tears were over as fast as they started!

It was a great visit and I am so glad that I have the opportunity to save it as part of this spectacular "Seeing America"  journey!
