It might not be beautiful but Maman, French word for Mom, depicts this gigantic spider as caring, helpful and hardworking!
The art inside was just as amazing. This painting "Along the Shore" was one of my favorites. It was noted that it is interesting that the artist placed you in the water and not on a protected beach.
But in addition to the typical paintings there are a lot of very creative pieces. Not one of my favorites, but an interesting piece is this one called "Alphabet/Good Humor" It is the alphabet in the shape of a good humor bar.
This one is an artists depiction of nature -none of it is real
The piece that we most marveled over and were most disconcerted by was this "Portrait of the Artist." It is a larger than life sculpture that was created using sculpting and the technology of a 3D scanner. The artist, Evan Penny, drew on his experience as a Special Effect artist in Hollywood to create this sculpture of himself decades older.
You can really experience how strikingly gross it is as you get closer.
The museum itself is quite artistic in design as well.
You can't go to Bentonville and not stop by the first "Wal-Mart."
We went to a Wal-Mart in Bentonville and we were blown away. There were clerks in every aisle that knew all about the products. The self checkout was a rotating belt just like the regular checkers have and once a product got close to the scanner it checked it out. Just get the product close and it scans.
We really liked our RV park in Cave Springs. The black RV behind the building is ours!! It is always fun to have an onsite golf course!
That's it for our stay in Cave Springs. We are now on our way to Hot Springs Village for our three month experience out of the RV!
