Glenn's Ferry, Idaho - May 18 & 19

Due to car problems, we had to revise our plans.  Mark found this cute little RV park that also had a golf course.  This is a view of our RV from the pin at the fourth hole.  You can see the vineyards in front of the RV.   Vineyards and a golf course - it just doesn't get any better than this!!

It looked like it might rain so we decided to play 9 holes with a cart so that if it started raining we could make a dash back to the RV.  But it turned out to be a beautiful day.  Notice the wine bottle tee markers - now isn't that creative!  What you don't see is the beautiful Snake River winding along the boundaries of the golf course!

Here is a photo that shows you are literally playing among the vineyards.

After golf we stopped back at the Crossings Winery for a wine tasting.

One of our fellow golfers recommended that we try the stuffed mushrooms appetizer.  So after our wine tasting we went over to the patio for some stuffed mushrooms.  They were exactly as he described them - yummy!

We enjoyed the winery so much we decided to come back in the evening for dinner.  I also wanted another glass of their peach sangria with the frozen fresh peach on the bottom of the glass!  It was a very unexpected perfect day on the road!!  Just in case you want to make this stop it was called Carmela's but it is now called Crossings.
