Dana Perino, press secretary under George W. Bush, was speaking in Little Rock so we took a quick trip to catch her live.
It was very interesting to hear her tell some of her personal experiences while working in the White House!
Speaking of White House, how can you go to Little Rock and not make a stop here:
For those of you who don't recognize the building:
No airplane, but there was the Presidential Limo. Surprisingly, it took three years to build this car and there were only three created!
There was a great re-creation of the cabinet room under President Clinton:
And, the ever popular Oval Office under President Clinton:
Not sure what this had to do with President Clinton but there is a beautiful Chihuly glass sculpture
President Clinton's Schwinn Bike was kind of cute.
It wouldn't be a Clinton Library without his favorite musical instrument.
It was interesting to see what a table looks like at a White House Dinner.
One of the best accomplishments during the Clinton Years, from my perspective, was a balanced budget. I will admit that it did bother me that this was the most partisan of all the presidential libraries - finger pointing at the opposing party in almost every display.
Now, that covers the complete political spectrum. We also went to a great IMAX 3D Theater in Little Rock to see "Gravity." It was so real that we felt like we "flipped" along with Sandra Bullock through the entire movie. We both had a stomach ache on the ride home!!
