Sadly, I don't have photos of our visit with friends from Washington, Angie and Frank, or the tennis tournament against Cottonwood. We did get in a lot more tennis this season but, these are my only photos.
We made a fun trip to the Gaslight Theater in Tucson with friends Joyce and Lloyd Woods and Joan and Bernie Klaus. Dinner and a show - great fun!!

The balloon glow and the luminaries are always a wonderful start to the park's Cancer Awareness activities.
Friend Jan caught this great photo of one of the hot air balloons as it passed close to her home on the golf course.
In the past we did a golf event with our Hopbush friends to benefit Cancer Awareness. But, this year, we took a different route. We had our golfing friends on the block "flocked." We made a cancer awareness contribution for a flock of flamingos to raid each site. They got to make a donation to cancer awareness to have the flock removed. It made for quite the conversation piece!!
We enjoyed our Friday Hopbush Tour Group golf. There were two memorable moments. One, when I moved a golf cart and did not realize that the brake was not working and I rode into the cart in front of me.
And, when Jan hit a ball into a sliver of grass by a pond at The Duke Golf Course!
We had a fun afternoon at Barb and Dave Love's new home in the nearby community of Mission Royale. We got to catch up with Chuck, who was a regular with the Men's Hopbush tour group, and his wife Pat.
This season we once again participated in quite a few nine and dines - we play nine holes of golf and enjoy a dinner. This year we added some fun shows: The Rat Pack (Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Junior, and Frank Sinatra), The Bee Gees, and Paperback Writer, a Beatles tribute band.
That wraps ups the highlights of our January and February stay in Arizona. Now its time to start the 2019 Seeing America Tour and we are off to Las Cruces, New Mexico!
