Central Point, Oregon 5/3 - 5/9

We don't know what Central Point will be like but the road to get there is just amazing!!  You can see the redwood tree dwarfing the other trees!! 

 

The road actually goes through a grove of redwoods!!

 

Always spectacular when you drive right along the ocean..

...to finally end up along a beautiful clear river!

 

This stop was in a beautiful RV park

 

And that piece of white in the background isn't a cloud, it is Mount McLoughlin, a 9,495 foot high volcano in the Cascade Range.

 

We played two golf courses.  Stone Ridge was for sale so it needed some gentle loving care but it had beautiful lilac bushes out front. 

 

Eagle Point Golf Club was another matter.  It is a beautiful course with patio dining right off of the 18th hole.  We enjoyed a great lunch and a great game of golf! 

 

This was a much needed comfortable and restful stop after all the previous busy California stops!!  Now, its on to Salem, Oregon.
