Roswell, NM 9/30-10/1

How can you be close by and not stop in Roswell, New Mexico, home of "The Roswell Incident.  On July 6, 1947 a local rancher told Roswell authorities about an object that crashed.  Investigating officials at the Roswell Army Air Field reported that they had discovered a "flying disk."  A few hours later, they revised their story.  The mystery surrounding what really landed in that field is still being debated today.  We went to the UFO Museum to check it out!

They provide you with a simulation of aliens and the space ship blasting off!!

We even got a "we were there" photo with the aliens - pretty lame but we just had to do it!!

Here are some props from the first movie on the Roswell Incident based on the book "UFO Crash at Roswell."

Would we go again - no, but we were close so why not!!  But, speaking of local attractions, this one showed up at the RV Park and everyone was out to grab a photo of this tarantula.

But, its not really that big - here is  a photo to give you some perspective of its actual size.

That's about all there is for Roswell.  Next stop, Carlsbad, NM
